IT ALL STARTED IN 2005

My name is Franco, I have always worked in the Fashion Industry, since I got my first real job.

Living in Naples Italy, my dear friend Fabio, gave me the fantastic opportunity to join his team at RWE Italy, developing collections for well know international brands, many of them sold at Saks Fifth Avenue.

All my backgroung is in the fashion industry but my real focus was in the Denim industry. I always loved it.

The first jeans I was responsible of developing was for DKNY and French Connection.

From there on, I worked developing many many famous branded jeans collections.

I wanted to transfer my experties to a niche in which not many would invest because the market was small and the numbers were low. But I wasn't searching profits, I just wanted to make expecting mothers feel happy in their fashionable yet comfortable denim jeans.

I'm not talking about Junior, Arnold Schwarzenegger movie with Danny De Vito in which a research scientist becomes the world's first pregnant man in order to test a drug, he and a colleague have designed for expectant women.

To carry out the trial, he has an embryo implant, believing that he will only carry the baby for three months - hardly expecting to face the prospect of giving birth undergoing the trials and tribulations of pregnancy, from morning sickness to labor pains...

I'm talking about my real experience as a husband back in 2004 when my wife was expecting our first child, Emilio.

I was totally in harmony with her in a way that I was experimenting the same feeling as she was. From the body changes the fears, changes of humor, everything. I even enjoyed yoga and pre-birth courses

It was during this special period of our lives when I established wonderful relationships with mainly pregnant women, I could understand their needs, just like my wifes'.
